Starlings revisited

Some of you may remember the incident with a small kitten and a live starling of some months ago. Here is the account of the events of that day.

Well, today, just before Agent Grey left for work, we had another gift. Only this time the deed had been committed more completely. I thought the event was over when I evicted Eric from the house, complete with prize, and got on with my brekkie (porridge as it happens).

Some little while later, I head up to the lounge to do some pilates, when I notice a kitten, this time Loui, playing with something - with some vigor - in my bedroom. The poor little demised starling.

Bribery ensuded and finally it was my turn to 'play with the kill' (I have yet to work out how I come so low in the pecking order for this, but oh well.) and so the little (big) bird was duely bagged and tagged and put out into the dustbin. With a lid I hasten to add, since my cats also like bin hooking.

And so ends the tale of my second little present.
