Yesterday was not a good day. I overslept and only had an hour before SixFootHobbit came up for coffee. Breakfast was lovely - and a pleasant treat. I did some shopping for wedding favours, and so far the morning had been short but productive.
Then I tried to get a key cut. It was expesive and took a long time to come through from Timpsons in Arbroath. So we headed through to have a go with a lock specialist. Who was very helpful - but sent me away to get permission from the people who own my locks. Since that's not me. On the plus side it is *really* hard to get a copy of my key. I have them now.
I made SixFoot late for his afternoon of boardgaming so I wandered back down into town to meet with Ms Pipkin for a cuppa and a sit down before training.
Training was good - Aleks is away still so Mark mostly ran the session. It was fun, although Kev is really poor at pulling his blows. So he struck me really hard on my hand twice. It's a bit fat today and stiff, but not too bad.
However, It was a shock and made me cry a bit. Mark was nice about it - which made me cry and little bit more. Then I totally lost it and was balling my eyes out for the next 30mins. I'm trying really hard to stay distracted from grieving. Which I realise is dumb, but I don't have time for it just now. I hardly slept all night last night and now I have to find something to occupy myself today.
Fielding has been cancelled, so I may need something to do tonight since Adam likes a night to himself and I don't want to assume that he won't mind me staying home. Maybe things will be clearer after some breakfast.
