mid week high point

I've made it to Wednesday, relatively unscathed. Nice.

I didn't take the job at SM. It was altogether too sinister. Still, on Saturday morning I popped my CV in to another couple of places that might be fun. Waiting to hear back from them.

I have the fabric to make my pale blue medieval overdress for the LRP in Wales on the 19th. I still need to get the fabric to make the cream dress (to wear underneath it) and cream overdress (to wear with my green frock.) That is all due in to the shop on Friday, so I might try and pop in to pick it up then. The LRP is still pending confirmation though, which is slightly annoying. However, I want to make these four things (I have a red brocade sleeveless overdress in mind too) regardless, as stock for Foreign Field in February. It's a cute little project to keep me going until plans get underway for Halloween.

I have a busy evening tonight working at the Union with the Enterprise Gym (society) giving a presentation on being self employed and showcasing some work. It is good fun, although the students seem to have a blind spot where I think they believe it is inappropriate to buy things from one of their coaches. Perhaps they will none-the-less recommend me to their friends. It's the right time of year for students, loan cheques just came in.

This weekend is mobbed busy. Corset fitting for the wedding, then a Chrimble card party with Adams Mum and Aunt. Possibly even helping Mo get Shod in the morning. Then on Sunday Adam and I are scaning our wedding list and I am popping home to sit down with Ania and sort out the website. Annual mini overhaul buff and polish to make it shiny again.

I'm feeling a bit better. Well, finding jobs to keep my mind off things. Which is nothing like the same, but one day when I say it out loud it might be true.
