What is it with Fridays?

Louigi didn't come in last night when we called him. Adam waited up until after midnight and had to go to bed without seeing him. At about 4am I got up to give the baba a shout, and he was in the house - so I gave him some ham and a fuss.

This morning I had a hard time getting up, not that I was particularly sleepy. It was just very hard to find a reason to get out of bed. Late morning came around and I got up to see Louigi (the Boogolas had been sleeping on the bed with me.)

I miss having Loui come up and spend time with me in the mornings.

So most of the day has been spent dragging myself from one job to the next, trying not to cry. I have the busy weekend ahead so I'm hoping I can sort myself out a bit this evening.

On a positive note, since stalwart readers will want to see that I am looking for them, I have an interview on Monday for one of the full time jobs I applied for. A Visual Assistant position, setting up displays, windows and arranging the store in an attractive fashion. I'm good at interviews, so that's not a big deal. The job sounds fun. It's a 36.5hour week. Which is a lot - but still leaves me time to make stock for events and evenings to meet with PC clients as they come along. It's an exciting development.

I tried making a list of good things for 2007. It's a good list, but sadly for this year there are two negatives for every positive. Maybe one day I'll be able to laugh about the Week From Hell (since I doubt there will ever be anything to top it) but for just now looking back at the past is too much like hard work.
